OPERATION
The Bryant Center Hole Grinder produces geometrically correct center holes – avital requirement for precision O.D. grinding.Ideal for re-centering distorted centers in machine spindles, arbors, center-controlled checking devise for other salvage work.
It minimizes stock removal and greatly improves work quality and accuracy. Operation of the Bryant Grinder is unique –instead of utilizing plunge grinding, with its inherent faults, it “Generates” to produce fine finishes and precision tolerances similar to those obtained on an internal grinder. High Precision3-way grinding to the cone-shaped wheels are – Rotary Motion of the Grinding Cone above its spindle axis; Planetary motion of the Grinding Cone about its spindle axis; Reciprocating motion of the Grinding Cone along a line 30 degrees from the vertical.
