WORKTABLE
Blanchard one-piece steel magnetic chuck, 36 diameter with 5/8 pole spacing. Chuck has 2 center hole and 3/8 – 16 tapped holes, 16 holes in 30 chuck and 19 holes in 36chuck. For chuck current see below. Maximum weight of work load, 8,000 lbs.

Wheel: 720 R.P.M. on 60 cycle; 750 R.P.M. on 50 cycle
Chuck: 6, 9, 12, 18, 25, 33 R.P.M.
(On 50 cycles chuck speeds are 5/6 of these).

FEED
Vertical down feed of wheel by hand or power.
Power feed: On 60 cycles approximately .004to .080, and on 50 cycles approximately
.003 to .066per minute with accurate automatic stop.Maximum distance
of down feed before stop operates is one turn of dial, .100.Wheel head has
rapid power rising and lowering, interlocked with feed.

WATER SUPPLY
Easy cleaning tank in base, capacity 150 gallons.
Motor driven centrifugal pump submerged in tank, 1 1/2 discharge pipe, 60 gallons per minute, supplying water inside the wheel and to outside nozzle through 1 pipes.

WORK CLEARANCE
Swing clearance is 38diameter inside the water guards. Vertical height (range) is 18 between the top surface of the 36 dia. chuck and the grinding surface of a new grinding wheel in its raised position.

WORK TABLE
Blanchard magnetic chuck, 36dia. with 5/8 radial spacing between concentric poles. Chuck has a 2 dia. center hole. Chuck uses direct current; voltages 115 or 230(230 preferred), and required 792 watts supplied by a Neutrofier when ordered. Maximum weight of workload is 3,000pounds.

WHEEL HOLDER
Cylinder wheel holder for 20x 5 x 16 1/2 cylinder wheel; or 20 Courtland type segment chuck (when ordered) which holds four CD‑18L segments.

FEED
Vertical down feed of the wheel is either by hand or by power. The power feed is variable between 0.004 and 0.080 per minute. An accurate, automatic down feed stop is provided. Maximum down feed to the stop is provided. Maximum down feed to the stop is 0.098, 0.298 is available on special order. The wheel head can be rapidly raised and lowered by power.

COOLANT SUPPLY
Wet base capacity of20‑36 and 20K‑36 models is 125 gallons.
