Machine Builder/Assembler
GCH Machinery, a global supplier of turnkey grinding systems, is seeking full-time Machine Builders/Assemblers for its Warren, MI global headquarters. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow with a solid company.

Hourly pay for the position ranges from $19.00 to $24.00, depending on experience.
Job requirements:
- Must have prior machine assembly or maintenance experience
- Able to read calipers, micrometers and indicators down to .0001 or less
- Must have tools for the trade; some may be acquired after start, due to specialty type (metric and standard tools required for our machinery)
- Must be able to start at 7:00am and work overtime as needed, with little notice, at times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Â 1-2 years mechanical assembly experience may be required
- Basic reading skills.
- Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
- Must be able to follow directions and perform tasks accurately and thoroughly
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
- High attention to detail and self-motivated
- Specific technical or vocational training or certification may be required; may be required to pass ruler test.
Physical demands and abilities:
- Regularly lift 30 – 50 pounds
- Regularly perform repetitive tasks
- Manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
- Specific vision abilities required including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
